Quick Synopsis:

* Based on josei manga series Usagi Drop by Unita Yumi, serialised in Feel Young magazine.

Going home for his grandfather's funeral, thirty-year-old bachelor Daikichi is floored to discover that the old man had an illegitimate child with a younger lover! The rest of his family is equally shocked and embarrassed by this surprise development, and not one of them wants anything to do with the silent little girl, Rin. In a fit of angry spontaneity, Daikichi decides to take her in himself!

I am yet to know what it feels to be a father and honestly the idea both terrifies and interests me, that being as it is, i consider Daikichi as a hero, yes, a hero.
A person that sacrifices his comfort zone as swiftly as he did for a kid that may very well be unrelated to him can only be considered one.
The story is slow-paced and goes about the development of Daikichi as a single father and Rin as a growing, cute, little kid. Their relationship development as father and daughter is also a sight to see.
A growing unrest also sets throughout the series as due to the fact that there is little known about Rin's mother who Rin-chan is seemingly oblivious about.

Many "D'awwwww" moments happen throughout the series which adds to the fact that Rin-chan is just too cute ! 
All in all i had a lot of fun watching this series, it is truly heart warming and was a nice shift from the usual stuff i watch.
